Bosjager Farm will be more than a farm — it’s a place for people to come together. A place where nature, community, and creativity meet.
Our dream is to blend agriculture with rural eco-tourism — to create a living space where people can reconnect with the land and with each other. Some visitors may come to unwind and recharge, others to join in the harvest or learn new skills. Everyone finds connection in their own way — whether through shared work, quiet reflection, or simple moments under the olive trees.
Buying this land wasn’t easy. We had to work incredibly hard and take a big leap of faith to make it happen. Our other passion project, Plaaskombuis.nl, together with our Airbnb in the Netherlands, made it possible to invest in this dream. It’s a huge and uncertain adventure — but one we believe in with all our hearts.
We want Bosjager Farm to be a place of Ubuntu — “I am because we are.” A space to experiment with living in harmony with nature, where people share knowledge, ideas, and purpose. Together we can create something that feels whole again — a place to grow food, friendships, and inspiration.
In the coming years, we aim to restore the land through regenerative farming — cultivating olives, almonds, and pistachios while rebuilding the ancient terraces and bringing back life to the soil. At the same time, we’ll develop spaces for guests: simple, natural, and rooted in the landscape.
Our vision is to create a model for others to follow — showing that small farms can thrive by combining sustainable agriculture, education, and tourism. We want to host courses, workshops, cultural events, and maybe even weddings or retreats. Each visit, each collaboration, becomes part of a shared story of renewal.
Bosjager will also support the local community — by creating jobs, partnering with nearby businesses, and showcasing regional crafts and products to a broader audience. Just as South Africans turned the Garden Route and Route 62 into living examples of creativity and rural resilience, we want to bring that same spirit to Spain: a network of farms, artisans, and open-hearted places that welcome the world.
Our next big (and slightly frustrating) hurdle will be to apply for permissions to build — a farmhouse, small tourist accommodations, and facilities for hosting events. It’s a long, expensive process, but an essential step toward realizing our dream of opening the farm to others.
So wish us luck — we’ll need it.
And if you’d like to join, support, or simply cheer us on, we would love that. Every bit of encouragement helps this little seed of an idea grow stronger.
Bosjager Farm is still just beginning, but with care, collaboration, and courage, it will become a place where people find meaning — through work, rest, learning, and belonging.

Our 34-hectare farm has been purchased through a loan we’ve already arranged — a big step that makes this dream real. Our goal is for the land itself to slowly regenerate that investment over time, through honest work and care.
For now, every bit of income will be reinvested into the essentials — restoring the soil, planting trees, building facilities, and creating a place that can welcome others.
Bosjager Farm will grow into a living blend of farming, agritourism, retreat, and rural hospitality — a space for seminars, events, and slow countryside stays. Everything we build here is meant to last, to inspire, and to be shared.

We believe the best way to share what we grow is directly — from our hands to yours. By selling straight to consumers, we can stay true to our values: honest products, fair prices, and real connection.
A webshop is on the way, and we’re creating new social channels and content to share our story — from the fields, the people, and the process behind every harvest.
Alongside this, we’ll reach out to local shops and online platforms that align with our philosophy, so Bosjager products can be found and enjoyed far beyond the farm.

We believe that real change starts small — with people who care. By supporting our crowdfunding, you’re helping us bring this vision to life: a self-sustaining farm where nature, community, and creativity come together.
There are three ways to help us grow. First, simply sharing our story or following us online already makes a difference — it helps our message reach more people. Second, you can make a small sponsorship if you believe in what we’re doing and want to see a positive shift in how we live with the land. And third, you can back one of our support tiers — each offering real, tangible rewards and a chance to become part of our community.
In return, we’ll share the journey with you, from the first harvests to the experiences we’ll create together on the farm.

For Bosjager Farm to become a truly sustainable business, we need to bring our tourism side to life. Visitors are at the heart of our vision — people who come to unwind, learn, and experience the beauty of rural Spain.
Before this can happen, we first need to take care of the essentials: basic infrastructure and permissions from the local council. Once that’s in place, we can begin building the first pieces of our dream — a pool, a shared social area, and simple guest facilities where people can stay, connect, and recharge.
Step by step, we’re shaping a place that welcomes others while staying true to nature and community.
